Course record falls to Mendoza
Saul Mendoza (Mexico) shaved nearly 10 seconds off the men's open
course record in Sunday's Peachtree 10K, winning in a time of 18:38.06.
Thomas Geierspichler (Austria) won the quad division in 25:17.68,
sweeping the road race events in the America Series. In the women's
open division, Diane Roy (Canada) narrowly won in a sprint finish
with a time of 23:57.56. Franz Nietlispach (Switzerland) won the masters
division, Edgar Navarro (Mexico) the T-1 division, and Marcel Hug
(Switzerland) the juniors division.
