America Series Scoring and Purse
PURSECurrently, $10,000 will be paid to the top 10 Series finishers. In order to be eligible for the purse, athletes must register for the America Series.
Purse amount subject to change.
SCORING 1. Athletes' top four performances will count toward their total score.
2. Athletes may compete in any of the distances offered at each event.
3. Only one score from each day of competition will be allowed.
4. By wearing Series ID on their helmet and race chair frame, athletes
results
are scored. No ID, no score.5. Course records will be used in road races.*
6. IPC world records as of January 1, 2005, will be used for track events.
The highest total scoring athlete will become the Series champion.
*Relevant track record averages will serve as performance minimums for road races. Junior and Master athletes will be recorded against open records.
