Rules
| 1.
| Each athlete’s performance is scored against a 1000 point scale. (1000 = world record (WR) or course record (CR) in that event) |
| a.
| Any new course or IWAS world record will immediately score 1000 points and all other performances will score from the new record. |
| b.
| New road races must meet minimum track standards in that class and distance. Example: 5K road course record must equal the IWAS T54 5K record of 10:01.47 |
| 2.
| Final points will be tabulated from athlete’s top 10 performances, out of the 17 competitions on the Series schedule. (Currently: 5 road events and 12 track events.) |
| 3.
| By wearing World Series-provided stickers athlete’s results are scored. |
| a.
| A visible sticker must be on: 1) the front of the headset, 2) the side of the frame main tube, and 3) the front of the helmet. |
| b.
| No visible stickers - no score. |
| 4.
| Athletes may compete in any of the distances offered at track meets. |
| a.
| Athletes may score in both distances listed at all track meets. |
| 5.
| To be eligible for prize money, athletes must attend the World Series Awards ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 4, 2007 |
